About the role

The role requires a deep understanding of natural science (chemistry or physics) and also the ability to communicate this understanding in clear and simple terminology. The ideal candidate will not only be able to visualize and communicate science but also participate in inter-disciplinary working groups. This work will then be incorporated into Puro.earth methodologies, therefore a confident grasp of managing large documents is also paramount.

With appropriate experience, the role should be an enjoyable and interesting outlet that offers the ability to progress and communicate scientific endeavors to support carbon removal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and communicating behavior of equations
  • Communicating chemistry and physics in simple terms to a broad audience
  • Comfortable visualizing equations in software, Mathematica for example
  • Manage a library of critical scientific documents & take concise notes
  • Participate and at times present in inter-disciplinary working groups
  • Comfortable with managing large documents as they evolve

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Natural Science, or related discipline
  • Work experience which exemplifies application of theoretical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Sense of humor
