Life Cycle Assessment
CHM Analytics uses Life Cycle Assessment to map and understand the environmental impacts of a product or service during its entire lifespan, i.e. “From cradle-to-grave”.

Using LCA ensures that trade offs are kept to a minimum (such as lowering climate emissions but increasing toxicity) when redesigning a product or using a different material.
LCA helps organizations understand where in the product-value chain that the largest environmental impacts occur and can give suggestions on what actions to take to mitigate this.

Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a document that can be used to reliably communicate the environmental impacts of a product. An EPD is a type III environmental declaration, meaning that it’s third-party verified and approved for marketing purposes. CHM Analytics supports actors by making EPDs registered with an EPD program that can be used for B2B or B2C communication.
 
Understanding Climate emissions
When mapping an organizations contribution to global warming, it can be difficult to find data on materials and flows that are outside of the company’s sphere of influence. CHM Analytics uses widely recognized databases and academic reports to accurately report climate emissions for all relevant activities. Whether if it’s a Greenhouse Gas protocol report, Science Based Targets initiative, ISO 14064 reporting or just an internal audit. CHM Analytics can help to map, explain, and facilitate improvements to the product system.
