Puro.earth has accredited more than 30 facilities that actively remove carbon from the atmosphere. Interested buyers can contact them directly or purchase CORCs through one of our partners. It is possible to purchase CORCs from inventory or secure your future supply through a Pre-Purchase Agreement. With a Pre-Purchase Agreement, the buyer agrees to purchase CORCs from a future issuance at a pre-agreed price.

Buyers can enable the growth of potential carbon removal companies through advanced market commitments and Pre-CORCs. With advanced market commitments, the buyer agrees to purchase CORCs from a future issuance, sending a strong demand signal to investors and lenders that can help the company secure the financing it needs.
Pre-CORCs are digital tradable assets that are converted into CORCs after the carbon removal has been independently verified. It is a way for high-potential suppliers to secure prepayments for future issuances, making them less dependent on expensive debt and equity financing. Buyers can claim to support the carbon removal ecosystem while benefitting from additional flexibility in securing their future CORC supply.
Moving to 100% carbon removal credits is not always feasible. However, according to the Oxford Principles for Net Zero Aligned Offsetting a credible offsetting strategy that is compatible with the Paris Agreement requires organizations: “…to gradually increase the percentage of carbon removal credits they procure with the view of exclusively sourcing carbon removals by mid-century.”
Many of our customers start with a pilot. They choose to neutralize the emissions of a geography, an office, a conference, or the business flights in a year. Others decide to become completely net zero with carbon removal. Even if removals constitute a relatively small portion of a company’s portfolio of credits initially, it is important signal that encourages investment in carbon removal technologies.
