We guide project developers through the entire lifecycle of a carbon removal project, reducing risk and accelerating time-to-market. Our service is structured into three distinct phases:
- Phase 1: Project Feasibility & Eligibility Assessment: We conduct preliminary assessments to verify project eligibility under the Puro Standard. This includes evaluating biomass sourcing, technology selection (such as pyrolysis benchmarking), end-application feasibility etc. to ensure the project is certifiable before significant investment.
- Phase 2: Registration & Certification: Our experts manage the preparation of full project documentation, including accredited Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) compliant with ISO 14040/14044. We provide hands-on support during registry audits and Validation/Verification Body (VVB) processes to achieve faster, frictionless registration.
- Phase 3: Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV): We deploy the Crystalchain dMRV platform, which includes built-in LCA capabilities, IoT integration and buyer due diligence, to centralize and trace end-to-end data from biomass sourcing through to the final application of the biochar, generating comprehensive reports and audit packages with direct support from our accredited experts.
We also offer bespoke consultancy services and workshops, to guide project developers in understanding of VCM and biochar project development. These cover critical areas such as Biochar basics, science, diverse applications, and market insights. For Carbon credits, we cover VCM fundamentals, market comparisons (Voluntary vs Compliance), the carbon project lifecycle (development, registration, monitoring), price setting, financing structures, market trends, and CRCF.
