Biomass Traceability in Geologically Stored Carbon: A Working Discussion

Date: 24 June 2026
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 am

A review of Puro’s updated GSC methodology, with Gevo as a case study.

Gevo joins this roundtable as a case study, sharing how its BECCS pathway maps to the updated traceability requirements from feedstock origin through geological storage, and how it interacts with compliance carbon markets. Participants will have time for open Q&A and peer discussion on the questions resellers are fielding from buyers: how to verify chain of custody, where the new methodology tightens (or eases) diligence work, and how updated traceability affects the way credits are described in client conversations.
